NYFS is a 501(c)(3) Washington State Licensed Mental Health and Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Center. Professional mental health and chemical dependency counselors provide therapy for individuals and family members in a comfortable and supportive environment.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
We help individuals and families develop healthy and constructive methods for dealing with life’s challenging circumstances.
SUBSTANCE USE COUNSELING
Our outpatient substance use program is designed for adolescents age 22 and under and their families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives related to substance abuse.
SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAMS
NYFS provides professional services in Northshore and Skykomish School Districts. Our school support programs operate within Middle School to High School aged youth.
NORTHSHORE HEALTHY START
Healthy Start is a home visiting program serving pregnant women and children up to age 3 in Snohomish and King County areas. Our Home Visitors provide access to developmental information, health screenings and community resources.
PARENTING CLASSES
Our parenting education classes use Nurturing Parenting™, a nationally recognized "best practices" program. This Program is for parents of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary age children and teens.
